UPDATED 8:03 AM ET Nov. 22, 2022. The state of emergency is still in effect in Erie County, but there are signs that things are slowly returning to normal. On Tuesday, all county government offices will reopen after being forced to close because of the weather, however, many schools, including the Buffalo city school district, will remain closed.
